Why

I am creating this site for myself. I hope to develop a practice of writing my thinking down into words so I better understand my thoughts.

Some initial guidelines that will help:

• This is for yourself.
• The practice is the purpose.
• This is not a representation of your best writing.
• Don’t be precious, use and abuse this platform for yourself.

Some initial hopes:

• A section that houses my learning, thinking, theories, and experiences with art-making and the creative world.
• A section where I can reflect on every piece that I create: A manifesto on why I created it, what I learned, what I hoped to get out of it, how it turned out…etc.

For now, the ultimate goal of this practice is to help myself process, better understand, and archive my thoughts on the process of art-making.
